Over the past few weeks, many cannabis patients graciously took a few minutes to complete the Yerba patient survey. We are so thankful to have such an involved community, and we want to pass on the insights that we gained from your feedback!
Our goal here at Yerba is to constantly offer new ways for people to enjoy their cannabis experiences. That is why we asked patients about the types of events they would attend, as well as the deals and promotional materials that would keep people engaged with our team.
From all of the answers, one thing is definitely clear: Yerba patients are awesome human beings!
Upcoming Yerba Events
Yerba is building a cannabis company that delivers more than just cannabis. Many people within our community have often asked us about organizing events for all sorts of purposes: education, philanthropy, and just simple fun outings.
The results of the survey were wonderfully surprising in that more than 95% of patients would like to attend at least one type of event sponsored by Yerba. However, the event that received the most interest was participation in a Bay Area live music event. Sounds like perfect timing for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival!
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is a free gathering in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park featuring an awesome array of famous musical acts. Yerba will be out on the lawn with water bottles, sunscreen, and fun branded materials that appeal to the sun-filled environment. The event takes place from September 30th through October 2nd.
You can RSVP with Yerba by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to pick up your free patient pack while we listen to awesome songs from musicians like Mavis Staples, CAKE, Dropkick Murphys. Steve Earle, Hot Tuna, Chris Isaak, The Mother Hips, and many, many moe.
We plan on hosting a multitude of events around the Bay Area such as Lake Merritt BBQs, Oakland Coliseum tailgates, and hikes in Tilden. The survey also yielded some great ideas like an organized day playing with the puppies and kittens of the Berkeley Humane Society and the SPCA of Oakland.
Bolstering the Yerba Menu
Patients responses regarding the Yerba menu were very enlightening. We had a lot of comments praising our current menu for being well-rounded without an overwhelming selection. It always feels good to know we are on the right track, but we of course want to keep our attention on providing variety so that everyone has access to their favorite cannabis products.
The results have prompted our team to bring in more concentrates and edibles to meet specific needs. Although folks with dietary restrictions do not make up a large portion of our patient community, we are making a concerted effort to meet every possible need of patients who prefer edibles.
Patients Digest: Upcoming Blog Topics
The Yerba blog strives to reach all sorts of readers. The cannabis conversation involves many sub-topics that our patients find very interesting. Topping the list are cannabis as it relates to health and science. Medical cannabis is still largely misunderstood (especially by our Federal government), so we agree that coverage of this particular topic is incredibly important.
Patients also want to know more in-depth information about the products that Yerba serves throughout the Bay Area. Check out our recent post on Bloom Farms to check out an example of a product-centric article from the Yerba team. Cannabis education is an ongoing process, and we are thrilled to see so many of our patients concerned about the progress of legal cannabis.
Materials for the Patient Community
Giving back to the community is a staple of the Yerba mission. We value every single one of our patients, and look to their needs when making decisions about our company. The question from the patient survey that received the most creative answers was in regards to promotional materials.
Nearly every response loved the idea of Yerba lighters and rolling papers, and almost half of you requested sunglasses and T-shirts as well. However, the most heartwarming result of the survey was that over 50% of patients would be very excited to receive educational materials like a handbook, so that they could help their friends and loved ones learn more about the cannabis medicine that helps them so much.
You asked and we listened! Promotional materials are on the way so that patients can carry around their Yerba pride no matter where they happen to be.
Yerba’s vision is to help people discover and access the medicine that makes them feel better. It’s easy to get involved in our community. You can sign-up for our newsletter for updates on our services. We also encourage you to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep up to date on all of the information and opportunities we offer.
